Two special performances will be held Friday November 16 at 7 PM and Saturday November 17 at 2 PM at the Nature Coast Unitarian Universalists fellowship (NCUU) in Citrus Springs. Both concerts will feature selections from the Great American Songbook by internationally renowned jazz recording artist Kathryn Taubert, and the piano styling of our Citrus favorite Sally Smith-Adams.

Taubert’s 2007 CD “Where Can I Go Without You?” was selected by the Nina Simone Fan Club of France for special recognition. She was also nominated by International Jazz Awards for her Latin music vocals.

Pianist Smith-Adams has performed several times at the Museum Courthouse in Inverness. As a full time musician, Sally performed in the Mid Hudson Valley, the Catskills “Borscht Belt”, and the US Virgin Islands. Sally is the Music Director for NCUU and accompanies the Citrus County Concert Choir.

Tickets are available for Friday November 16th at 7 PM and Saturday November 17th at 2 PM. Tickets are $15 at the NCUU door or by advance purchase ( 352-489-3545). NCUU is at 7633 No. Florida Ave., (Rte. 41) just west of the Holder light. Coffee and pastry will be for sale before and after the concerts.
